It’s very simple Mr Darling and Mr Brown. If you take away someone’s 10% tax rate and replace it with a 20% tax rate, they will pay more tax.

    There are plenty of people on pensions of £18,000 or less (many of which aren’t indexed-linked) who’ll suffer too.
    It’s a disgrace.
