When Brenda of Changing Attitude replied to my email queries (on the 13th of July) about who was presiding at the Communion on the 20th, she said:
We are not publicising names of participants in the Eucharist service – we want folk to join with us in worship and prayer, not focus on personalities.
That would make sense, because on the 13th of July, Google cached the relevant page and indeed it had no mention of who was participating.
Go to the page now though, and you’ll see that those personalities, Susan Russell and Colin Coward are explicitly mentioned. (At the same time, the page is still declaring that it was edited on the 12th of July, one day before the Google cache).
What made them change their mind?
