Clause 61

Clause 58 of the 2009 Coroners and Justice Bill will go to committee next week, on the 3rd till the 5th of February. As yet there are no dates for the Report stage or the Lords first and second readings, so until those come out we won’t get a look at the exact words of the proposed amendment to retain 29JA.

If you are so inclined you can read the Committee’s schedule here. There is absolutely no sign of any representations on the issue of Clause 58, so it looks as though any real action may remain until it goes to the Lords and then back to the Commons.
