Just a small update for those concerned about the Clause 61 issue (removing the Waddington Amendment from the CJA) in the Coroners and Justice Bill. The Bill is currently in Committee stage in the Lords and we expect Clause 61 to be discussed either today or on Thursday.
At the same time as this, the new Equality Bill is also passing through Parliament. I’m going to try to add some comment shortly.
