Blessed Mass@Home from Greenbelt 2011

There is simply no doubt that Fr Simon Rundell is the leading exponent of alternative worship in the Church of England as this video of the weekend’s Eucharist demonstrates. This one has a rock feel to it.

Over at the Twurch we interviewed Simon earlier in the year. You can listen to that conversation here. You might also be interested in Fr Simon’s two books on alternative worship which are featured below.

Andrew the Apostle
Almighty God, who gave such grace to your apostle Saint Andrew that he readily obeyed the call of your Son Jesus Christ and brought his brother with him: call us by your holy word, and give us grace to follow you without delay and to tell the good news of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

He consented to be described, and restored the fallen image to its former beauty.
We confess and proclaim our salvation in word and image.
