Lighter Things Music

I’m proposing a new rule. Every time in the future we have an entry for Eurovision, a panel of normal people has to agree that it’s at least as good as Katrina and the Waves from 1997 or else we just don’t enter. Doing this will ensure we score more than 20 points.

Who’s with me on this?

One Response to “Absolutely the Last Word on Eurovision”

  1. You know, I still can’t believe that this tat actually won. At a time when Britain was buzzing with musical creativity, the best we could do was to dredge up some 1980’s band to produce this. Just think (and this might still be an option for us next year) we could have had Jarvis Cocker and Pulp as our entry - now that would cause a stir in Eurovision land!
