heart.jpgI Love You

Simply words
but with great depth
that I can’t hope
to get to
the bottom of.

I’m obsessed by you
You sit on my every breath
You come rushing in
with the oxygen
to bring life
to these tired bones.

You consume me
Devour me with every word
that drops like honey
from your sweet lips
You never speak
but your mouth
conveys every meaning
in subtlety and blatancy.

Have we yet seen
the lengths you will go to
reaching out to touch
and caress my heart?
Your fingers strip away
the flesh that lies
between our two
organs
that play their songs
in unison.

I Love You

Simple words
that require no explanation
For words themselves
hinder our communication.
