Stalemate in Hereford
News from the sticks that the Diocese can’t decide who their Bishop should be.

My sources indicate to me that only two candidates were interviewed. Pete Broadbent has suggested there may be a simple explanation why no preferred candidate has so far been found.
If only 2 candidates were interviewed it suggests that with so many dioceses vacant , and ore on the horizon n the next year or so, those who feel God is calling them to the office of bishop are perhaps hoping He is calling them to something a little grander…another bye product of the current system I suppose.
