If you go to Google and type in the words "dangerous cult", guess who comes up as the number one link? FactNET has more on how this was done but here’s the layman’s guide:
- Create a new blog post
- In the blog post create a link with, off the top of my head, the words "brainwashing cult" to the Scientology website. Something like this – brainwashing cult
- Publish the post
Interestingly, at the moment "brainwashing cult" brings up Scientology only as the third hit on the list. Let the reader understand.
