Actually I recognise the guy in the video. That’s Matthias Wandel and his Mark 2 Jenga pistol. The Mark 1, which he built in 1994, was not nearly as good. The fun bit of the Mark 2 is that the Jenga block is fired out of the stack at about 15 mph.
If you like woodworking, Matthias has built some amazing stuff over the last 15 years, including his own fully-working pipe organ and a fully-working wooden combination lock.
