Thanks Peter for this beautiful song. I am mourning the passing of a dear friend and mentor in Canada, Father Earl Leiska, who taught me so much about being a priest. "Just love them!" was what he instilled in me and that has been central in all my ministry ever since. Johnny Cash expressed much of that sorrow I feel and yet in the midst of it is the glorious story of Christ on the Cross to atone for our sins. Father Earl is now at peace with Christ in paradise and reunited with his wonderful wife Gloria. I look forward to the day I see them again!
