Threaded Comments
Am I the only one who finds it hard sometimes to follow threaded conversations in the comments on this blog because of the way that the layout uses boxes? Want me to try and find a more convenient way to do it?
Update – OK, I’ve converted some threads into the new format. Can we all go over here and then tell me whether that threading works better?

The page is a bit cluttered, maybe you should go with 2 columns?
I like this better. I have had issues with Disqus but they have promised to work things out :). I am giving them a last chance because you are giving them a chance :).
Not sure which is best – I still can't get to specific posts quoted in the “We're talking about” column.
I should be able to fix that if we go for the new format (and so far the consensus seems to be “yes”).
OK – fixed that for you. Does the new stuff on the sidebar work?
